Prof. Tran Viet Dzung

O Prof. Tran Viet Dzung, graduado pela faculdade de Medicina de Paris (médico-cirurgião) é diretor do departamento de acupunctura na Faculdade de Medicina em Nice, França. Pouco depois de se graduar, conheceu o pai da acupunctura no ocidente, o Dr. Nguyen Van Nghi, com ele dedicou a sua vida na tradução dos clássicos e na utilização dos seus ensinamentos no contexto da prática clínica. Todos os conceitos e técnicas incluídos nos clássicos da Medicina Oriental, foram testados pelos Drs. Van Nghi e Viet Dzung. Não só em clínica, mas também a nível hospitalar, como por exemplo no Brasil. Também efetuaram inúmeras investigações em hospitais universitários . Desde o início dos anos 80, o Dr. Tran e o Dr. Van Nghi concentraram os seus esforços na luta pelo esclarecimento da informação contida nos textos orientais clássicos. O Dr. Tran actualmente continua a trabalhar, dando seminários de aperfeiçoamento por todo o mundo com a tradução dos clássicos que lhe legou o Dr. Nguyen Van Nghi aquando da sua morte. Desde 2009 o Dr. Tran tem vindo a colaborar com os acupunctores portugueses, em vários seminários com os mais diversos temas. É também:
· Fundador e membro docente do “Centre d'Enseignement et de Difusión de l'Acupuncture traditionelle”, na faculdade de Medicina de Marselha.
· Redactor e assistente da “Revue Français de Medicine Tradicionelle Chinoise” desde 1973.
· Fundador e membro de honra do “Instituto Van Nghi Internacional”.
· Fundador e membro de honra da “World Medical Association of Acupuncture”.
· Fundador e membro de honra da “Associação dos Médicos Acupuncturistas da América”.
· Membro de honra da “Academia Americana de Acupunctura Médica”.
· Professor convidado da “Associação Americana de Acupunctura” (AAAOM).
· Professor convidado “The Oregon College of Oriental Medicine” Estados Unidos.
· Professor convidado “Bastyr University” Estados Unidos.
· Professor associado da Faculdade de Medicina de Hochimin, Vietname.
